Five Touch Policies

 

Appointments & Scheduling: 

All of our therapeutic and professional sessions are available by appointment only.  To ensure the best possible experience and to minimize your waiting time, we encourage you to set up an appointment for your session.  Please remember that your appointment time is reserved especially for you.  You may contact us easily by phone, email, or via our online scheduling system should your plans change.

  • Cancellations or Missed Appointments:  In today’s hectic world, unplanned issues come up for all of us.  Your time is valuable as is ours. 

                  We request the courtesy of a 24 hour notice for cancellations and rescheduled appointments. 

                  Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will be charged a missed appointment fee

                  equivalent to the cost of your missed session. 

  • Late Arrivals:  We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service times and will be charged for the full appointment fee.  We suggest arriving a few minutes early.

  • No guest are allowed to accompany you during your appointment.

  • Health maintenance is very important to us.  We clean and sanitize in between each client to ensure your safety and ours.   

 

Payments: 

As our client, your fees for our sessions are payment for our Time and Expertise.  The Care you receive from us is absolutely FREE!

  •  Payments are due at the time of service.  Though prices are subject to change without notice, we generally would provide you with a 30 day notice of any changes. 

  • We accept Cash, Local Checks, VISA, and Credit Cards.  There is a $35.00 fee for any checks returned by your financial institution for insufficient funds or any other reason. 

  • Gratuities are always appreciated should you feel we’ve earned one.

  • Medical Insurance:  We do not accept medical insurance at this time.  Upon request, we will happily provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company or reimbursement agency.

  • We accept Flexible Spending Accounts.

 

Spa Services Client Privacy:

Your privacy will be honored at all times.  You will have the room to yourself while you disrobe and re-dress.  During your session, you will always be appropriately draped, and you may choose to undress to your level of comfort. 

  • Your Information:  All records and information about our clients are kept in strict confidence.  Neither your personal or health information will ever be shared unless we have your prior written consent or in the event we are required by law to provide access to your records.

  • Cell Phones & Pagers:  Please mute all cell phones, pagers or other electronic devices.  

  • Guests & Children:  Your appointment is specifically for you.  We ask that you not bring guests, children or other family members to your appointment.

 

Other Spa Service Situations: 

  • Client Illness:  We care about your health and ours!  If a client presents with signs or symptoms of illness that would make a session unhealthy for either the client or the professional, such as a fever, undiagnosed rash or contagious infection, or any Covid-19 symptoms, the session will be rescheduled.

  • Professional Illness or Emergency:  We reserve the right to reschedule in the event of The Professionals illness or emergency.

  • Other Conditions:  In the following circumstances, a Session will be ended and the client may or may not be charged for the service depending on the circumstances:

    • If the client’s needs or condition is beyond the scope of our practice

    • If the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol

    • If the client requests sexual or other inappropriate activities.  This will NOT be tolerated, and the client will NOT be rescheduled if this occurs.
